Genealogy Research


 The Bendigo Family History Group conducts a monthly meeting on the third Saturday of each month, except for December & January.

The meeting commences with Business at 2 pm and a Guest Speaker commences around 2.10 pm.


Meetings are held at Bendigo Goldfields Library Activity room 1, entrance in Hargreaves St

The meeting program usually includes a talk by a speaker on a subject associated with family history, genealogy or a related subject. There is an opportunity to socialise with other attendees over light refreshments.

Meetings are not exclusively for members, members of the public are most welcome. A gold coin donation is accepted.

"Ticonderoga? was called the Fever Ship in 1852

It was the ship that caused the Victorian Quarantine Station to be established.

There was a devastating loss of life on this ship due to Typhoid Fever.
 - An appropriate topic given our current COVID situation.
