Carolyn Southurst says...I am wanting any information on Ellen Agnes Curtain (b) c1856 she had a daughter Irene Daisy Crawford (B) 1888, father was not listed but an aunt Margaret Curtain was witness on the birth certificate. Daisy married in 1904 and listed her father as Jesse Crawford. I cant find a birth or death for Ellen, I know she died before 1904. I have a death certificate that kind of matches, a Ellen Agnes Curtain died 1902 in Melbourne Hosp, but no child is listed. Parents are noted as Margaret Moloney and father is John Curtain, also states this Ellen Agnes was born in Bendigo, I have all the diggers cd's but cant find anything.

Lawsie says...Rita Northway was married to my uncle, Edward Norman, who was killed at Rabaul. I am researching my family tree, and while I never personally met Rita, my Dad has often spoke of her, and quite warmly. I do know that she died in about 1975.

Looking for information or relations, connected to Edward Garsed b.1828, Elland Yorkshire. d.1885, Bendigo, Vic. Edward married Agnes Slee in 1855, Castlemaine.
Edward came to the goldfields in 1852 as Assisstant to Gold Commissioner Gilbert in Sandhurst. Later he started up a Pharmacy in Howard Place, he continued in that career untill his death..
Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I will be looking for details of Henri Louis Langoulant, a Frenchman, descended from jewellers in Paris, who deserted a whale boat in Albany about 1835, Western Australia, and after taking up a job as a lime burner, went to Bendigo during the gold rush from about 1852 for eight years.
